UNITED CREDIT UNION ANNOUNCES NEW LEADERSHIP IN LENDING

Robert Dwyer Brings a Legacy of Positive Impact and Community Service

CHICAGO – United Credit Union today announced the appointment of Robert Dwyer as Director of Lending Operations. In his new role, Dwyer oversees the day-to-day operations of the loan department,
including loan goals, polices, procedures, compliance, and production.

Dwyer comes to UCU from Wells Fargo in Lombard, Ill., where he held the position of Credit Risk Analyst/Underwriter for the past nine years. Over the course of more than 25 years, he has held several prominent positions within credit unions and corporate finance.

“Credit unions not only demonstrate heightened community involvement but also engage hands-on with the members they serve,” Dwyer said. “By actively listening, adapting and genuinely caring for their members, United Credit Union ensures that the impact it makes is consistently positive.”

Throughout his career, Dwyer has been involved with multiple philanthropic events and charities, including the free financial education program, Hands on Banking®, the Breast Cancer Foundation, Special Olympics, and Habitat for Humanity. He holds a bachelor’s of business administration with a concentration on finance from Elmhurst University.
